FIGHTING FOR THE FUTURES OF OUR BRAVEST & BRIGHTEST.

Since the year 2000 more veterans and service members have died from suicide than in combat. Stigma and isolation are the main elements ambushing service members.

Impact stories

FTSOS has opened my eyes to how many of our brothers and sisters are struggling. I have lost many of my friends from the service to suicide but couldn’t really comprehend how widespread this issue is.

Because of this program I have learned to reach out to my fellow service members and vets to support them and to LET THEM
SUPPORT ME!

“Every time we'd get a call with news of another suicide the same pattern would occur questioning why it happened why didn't they reach out for help and why didn't they just make the call. there had to be a way to stay connected before people felt like suicide was the only option the 2.2 brought back the feeling of a team, put all of us in front of each other again. It allowed us to interact with those we love, soldiers we served with, families, strangers and survivors. It helped to add a purpose to all of our lives and continue to be our brother's keepers”.

The 2.2 Event reflects the larger struggle we all face, whether in daily challenges or big tires the ability to lift each other up with support in that battle is the only way we win!

- Kyle

"I felt like I needed to take action. I was tired of getting the news about another brother in arms taking their own life. All of the power points, briefs and stand downs- just weren't cutting it. This organization provides me an avenue to come together and for people to realize there are other people going through similar emotions and issues.”

EVENTS

Join us for our flagship event! This year, we're hosting a 2.2 mile tractor tire flip to raise awareness and resources to help those who may be struggling with thoughts of suicide. Our tire flip symbolizes the importance of reaching out for support, as no one can do it alone, just like no one can flip that tire on their own. Together, let's bring an end to suicide by supporting each other and our cause.
